HEY, I’M KHANYISA KEKE…
Greetings, readers. My name is Khanyisa Kwame Keke. I am a South African, based in South Africa. I have a diploma in Information Technology. The Diploma’s specialization area is software development. I also have various other programming certificates. During my studies, I was taught basic Android with Java programming. During the Android course I completed several small projects. Which ultimately culminated with me completing a bigger project. A project which incorporated everything that I learned in the Android course..
After I graduated from University, I decided to continue to delve deeper into Java for Android mobile app development. As I dove deeper, I learned that Kotlin is slowly replacing Java as the main coding language used in Android Studio. I therefore decided to stop learning Java and pivot to Kotlin. So, I than started watching YouTube tutorials and free Udemy courses to learn how to develop Android with Kotlin apps. I also went a step further and attended the MTN Business App Academy. At the Academy, I received further training on Kotlin for Android programming. I received an accredited certificate after having graduated from the academy.
Why I am blogging
This will be the Ultimate free resource for Android Kotlin Developers online.
So, if you are looking for the following:
· A place where you can learn Android for Kotlin programming from
scratch;
· All the latest happenings and news in the world of Android Kotlin;
· To Connect with a community of Android Kotlin coders; and
· Access to free resources that will help with your programming
journey.
Then this is the place for you.
This blog is different from other Android Kotlin Development platforms in that:
· On other blogs you must pay for complete Android Tutorials and
other resources;
· I know exactly what it feels like to try and learn programming
language on your own. With no mentors, or any other kind of help.
This puts me in a unique position to understand what other aspiring Android Kotlin coders need to make learning easier; and
· The tutorials and other resources will be kept up to date.
If you want to learn Android Kotlin Programming and connect with a community of Android programmers, then this is the blog for you.
I created this blog for the following reasons:
· To afford those who do not have the financial means, access to free
tutorials and other resources;
· To provide a forum for Android Kotlin Developers from all over the
world to connect and share ideas; and
· To provide tutorials and other resources which are up to date, as
Android with Kotlin is very dynamic and many of the other platforms
out there do not update their content.
I will update the blog at the end of every month.
